Don, the hoses remain the original length and the bolts I have inserted and clamped are not long enough to impede flow. The water pump is new. I have not disconnected lines to and from radiator to ck for obstructions, but I do have a new radiator ready to go in, so I will ck those lines at that time. It has overheated at 100F and 50F, ambient. It has also overheated with and without the front heater. With the heater running, I know it's about to overheat when the blowing heat suddenly becomes cold. There are many SVX conversions running without any of these issues and using the stock Vanagon heater, so I don't suspect the stock radiator isn't up to the task, though I do suspect mine. Thank you for thinking aloud. It helps to discuss these puzzles. Sometimes the answer is right there under our noses. Thanks, Miguel
