But in this case I had no choice, and I'm pretty sure that this water is
better than most folks' tap water!  There were some fir needles on top, but
the water itself is about as clear as it comes.

hello Be careful using creek water,  I have seen the grit in creek  water
eat the blades off the water pump.  later  mark  d
