Sure, I have this 195/65 R 15 tire ......that is a nice narrow 15 incher.

on the tire 'clamshell' that hoolds the spare - there are 3 types I've noticed on vanagons. . They vary by how far the front has a 'drop' in the bracket, where the big bolt goes.

the 'normal' kind I'm used to are what you find in 82 to 85 vanagons roughly- built to take a 185 R 14 C or 195/75 R 14 LT tire. This 15 inch tire looks really similar to those sizes. I have not mounted it on a wheel or anything though, but it sure looks like it would work.

on vans that could have or came with 205/70 R 14 reinforced tires - like the 87 Wolfsburg, later Carats, Syncro's etc. They have more of a drop in the front bracket on the clamshell, and I get fairly wide tires in there using that clamshell, like 205/65 R 15 C .
