Subject: Propex and Vitrifrigo DIY install info?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I was reading Steve Williams's post about Karl Mullendore's Propex heater install into Steve's Westy. Karl has also promoted the Vitrifrigo reefer.

Both appliances look like attractive additions to our Westy.

But Karl's shop is a fair piece from us on the Left Coast and until Mrs Squirrel and I retire we're not planning any round trips to the Potomac River or environs.

But I see that someone has kindly posted installation instructions for the Propex on the wiki (http://vanagonwiki.net/index.php/Propex), which is cool.

1. I was wondering if Karl had looked them over and had any comments?

2. For the Vitrifrigo, it's probably far less complicated to install. However, has anyone posted step-by-step DIY info for this refrigerator? There's nothing on the wiki.

3. Who are our sources in the U.S. for these items?
