Yes, from first glance there are minor differences. A couple people have also noted the TF is louder, in that the compressor mounting is not as well done. I haven't had time to compare the two side by side but will have a chance in the next few weeks. Both fridges use the same German-made Danfoss compressor...or so says the label.
