There is also option #3 from Frank C. in Canada.  His is in the lower cabinet between the fridge and the rear seat.  He eliminated the shore power outlet and took out the false wall inside the cabinet utilizing space that most never use or even know exists in the first place.  When we get around to adding a heater it will either be there or the bottom of the wardrobe though I am leaning toward the lower cabinet.  I will not put one under the seat for two reasons, we use that space too much to reduce its size and I will not make more holes in the floor of the van as we drive off pavement and I do not want mud and water causing problems.
