Mike, I generally do as you do.  I am terribly put off by the idea of
cleaning up ANY kind of toilet, but I guess if I stayed overnight at
parking lots a great deal, I'd have to do something.  Might have to do
something as I age beyond my present youth (not) too.

To answer your question -- I have seen in catalogs, and at outdoor
stores, a product called "Wagbag."  Each bag handles a business trip, I
think.  The bag contains chemicals and solid material that supposedly
turn all output into a solid gel.  Supposedly no mess, no odor, and
legal to dispose in the trash.  Pricey.

On a trip through the Grand Canyon, our boat guides provided something
like it, and we had 16 trippers for 16 days.  Seemed to work well.  I
never inquired as to where the used bags were on the boat!  A poor jr.
guide called the "swamper," a high school aged kid, was responsible for
the toilet.
