Folks, failure of this plastic coolant tower can be catastrophic to
your engine, as evidenced by this post. If there was a top ten list of
these types of failures, this one would make the top ten, I think. I
have to take this opportunity to plug shamelessly, an outfit who is
out there working to make our vans more reliable. This is a known
weakness in our machines and these guys have done something about it :

I purchased one of these for my stock Syncro (after it failed and left
me stranded for one weekend, of course,) and it fit like a glove.
I will be purchasing one for my new to me Westy, this week. Don't
leave home without it!
