My camper is a '91. There is no screen in the filler tube. Maybe some previous owner already broke it out? Still takes a l.o.o.o.n.g time to fill. What size hose do you have that will snake down the tube? Mine won't, and the handy little device described earlier won't, either. It just makes it easier to control the water flow rate.
