Fryday.

Once again, gummint intervention where it is not desired or needed. Where did you say he lived, downtown anchorage where his bearly tolerable interactions place others in danger? Or maybe it was downtown Fairbanks? No? Oh, you say, just a mere 50 miles north of Anchorage, in a remote cabin, wherein lives a 70yr old iconoclast who happens to like bears. Nice to know the last frontier is friendly enough that the county mounties have spare time and resources to harass Charlie so his actions will not pose a threat to the law abiding locals in his neighborhood. That DFG yahoo needs a real job. Molesting the feeble and infirm is easy pickins for such a drooling idiot as Sean Farley. Note that Alaska does have it's share of drooling idiots. Hunting wolves from the air with shotguns for sport? So you kin have braggin rights about your prowess as a man? Droolin idiots.

If Charlie wants to scritch beartummies at his age so be it. If Sean-the-badge and his hench have no more to do than what is pointed out in the article from the Vermont paper via AP he needs a real job as do his mounties. I suspect they have quelled all the crime and other DFG offenses inside that 50 mile radius or maybe it's just easier to pick on retirees. Wonder if they pulled a Blanding on 'em.

One of these times Sean-the-badge is gonna run up against a cane rattlin ol snot who's gonna bite back or shoot back. "Honest yer honor, we gots lots of bears roun heah and with that black outfit and my old eyes I wuz jus plain skeered it was a bear that's why I shot em a few times."

Lemme tell ya sonny, a bear can find your toothpaste in the vanagon zippity quick, even if you're in there. So when she decides to move in, you best be movin out and on...

Wilderness is where it is legal for the local residents to kill and eat you. Oh it's you, Bob. Sorry, no offence intended.

Former resident of Big Delta AK.

Pensioner

Now on to tires, rattlin compressors, and news from the front.
