Have fun camping Dr. & Mrs.! There is nothing like the smell of bacon and coffee cooking in the morning when you're camping in the wilderness. When I was growing up, my Dad ascribed to a different philosophy than Kant and trained us differently. When he would go on geology field trips, the others would pull out their cans of franks and beans and heat them over the fire. Dad would have a complete set of china, silverware, and wine glasses, and would serve up a perfectly cooked steak and baked potatoes with a fine bottle of red wine. While I don't have any ultimate camping list that I use, I do eat well when I camp. Following the words of Immanuel Kan . . . :^) Not having as much class as my father, I don't drink wine . . . but I usually have a ready supply of good, cold beer.
