How can you call this a van? It's not kind of van at all. A van is any commercial vehicle with an empty cargo-bau built-in (or added on, like a 3-ton truck witha box body); this can include a stationwagon modified by the factory to carry freight instead of passengers, like my 89 Corolla.

The Sharan, Estima, Sienna etc are not vans, they are designed and built as passenger cars; if anything they are stationwagons.

The original Sharan, released in the 90s, had a horrific reputation... unreliable as all get out.
