The pan is strapped up under the evaporator and centered beneath it so that the evaporator appears to be almost sitting in the pan, with maybe about 1/2" clearance.  The hoses exit right and left and proceed to their respective sides to drain.  No crossover.

As I said, I have not seen a stock Westy A/C configuration close up so have no basis for comparison, but this appears to do what it was intended to do.  Also, from what I understand in a stock setup the pan rests on the inside floor of the A/C cabinet and so it moves when you try to remove the cabinet to work on it.  My A/C cabinet drops away and the pan stays put, making it a little easier to work on, especially when putting things back together.

Can you point me to where he did that?  At the front of the A/C?  At the back?

Right side?  All of my drain hoses go to the left and down through
the closet.  My drain from the ride side crosses in front of the A/C
to a tee where it joins the left drain.

Does your right drain go down the right side somewhere?

Still wondering whether there are drains at the back, too.

I'll get out the Bentley and see whether I can understand the
information there.  I find it very difficult to understand if I don't
already have the parts in question disassembled on a bench next to the book.
