Dear Volks, The other day I made a mistake and slipped in a sentence that I shouldn't have, and further failed to explain something clearly when it was important to be very clear. It was poor management, and people got hurt. However my sin is not a license for others to sin likewise. Incidentally, the word "sin" literally means missing the target you shot at. As a co-moderator who has never done it before I don't apologize for learning on the job. As a co-moderator who knows his job pretty well, Matthew's public slap was good management, even though it was engendered by poor management. As a man, I am sorry for hurting people. Yours, David |
