Hi Scott, Stored indoors for 8 years means it's been outdoors for 10. In Quebec (Where Gilles is from) rust can destroy a lot of cars in that amount of time. It's not like indoor storage is going to reverse the effects of the rust monster; it just slows it down a little. There is also a HUGE market for late-model westies in Quebec, thanks to an active Westfalia Camping Club with over 1000 members. If it's not too badly worn out, Benny Boy could throw a subie in that van, check it over and clean it up and it could fetch top dollar... Perhaps Gilles should speak to him about splitting the proceeds on that.
