I suspect that may not be correct. Porsche may have a trade mark on using the term 'Boxster' - the name of one of their car models. But how could they have a trade mark on say the term "V-8" .........a general term used to designate an engine layout ? Or if in aircraft, with radial engines ...... I doubt any company could trade mark the term 'radial.' if this was possible, then the term 'tire' would be trademarked by Goodyear.
