As I wrote a couple days ago, Mellow Yellow has developed a teeny propane leak, the slightest of whiffs, even with the main shutoff valve closed. I dropped into a shop here in Bend, Ore. -- Jerry's RV Service Center* -- where they allowed that they work on propane, although the fellow behind the counter was pretty grumpy. Told me to call the propane guy there to make an appointment to bring the van in. Before I call I want to make sure that I have my terms down. A couple years ago I had the auto-stop filler replaced with a manual one. And the little bleeder value higher on the tank replaced with a finger-tighten type. So . . . what is the proper name for that little bleeder thing high on the tank? Knowing the right name for that thing will reduce confusion when I call the guy up. ====================== * BTW -- if anyone knows of another RV repair shop in Bend that they can recommend, I'd like to hear about it. Didn't get a real swell vibe off these guys. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
