Some vehicles, Mercedes comes to mind, notify drivers via the sound
system when a malfunction occurs.  So, my wife's nephew was driving,
when the radio station he had tuned powered down, and a voice spoke to
him, saying something like, "Mr. Tucker, we noticed that your right tail
light has failed.  If you'll stop in to a convenient Mercedes service
department, we'll repair it for you.  Thank you."  The radio came back
up.
