Hi all.

Nothing new per se, but may help some other newb. Here's what I did:

Review of Kenwood deck yet to be written, but the JL 5.25" speakers:

and Kenwood deck

sound great so far. (haven't driven it yet!) I'm happy I found this stereo! Still not real world tested, but I can't see any faults yet. Less $ than the Pioneer I was eyeing, and has normal knob/buttons. Even pulls in KPLU Seattle (albeit with fuzz)

For any Vancouverites, North Shore Audio price matched Visions for stereo, ($150). Speakers were $116 at Visions (grand opening sale price. Sale over, but worth checking their prices IMO)

Not noted in my picasaweb, but managed to mount speakers so not much is blocked by end of dash. Window cranks were bent..... ;) Grill *just* pushed on a little when door closed. Needs slight mod.

Neil.
