Mine were cut where they "T" into the main hoses outside the bench and near/under the firewall. Clamped off, kept separate.When I first removed the heater, I just plugged them with large bolts and put hose clamps on the ends and that worked great. Had an engine conversion done and they cut them off "outside" at that time.
