Subject: Long Brake Line Installation Questions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all.

I'm in the middle of installing a new front to back brake line.

Front 92" portion is shaped and installed at pressure regulator, but just after first 2 bends from regulator, and possibly elsewhere, is it ok to use a clean piece of fuel hose or ? to keep it from rattling against the frame/subframe?

Makes sense to me, BUT, is it possible moisture could get trapped between hose bit and new line rusting it out prematurely?

I'll search the archives, but I've run out of those little horseshoe stand-offs ("snap snap snap") and not sure if I can get more. Besides. Kind of tough to install them at area above coolant pipes/shift linkage at area in front of gas tank.

If I can, I'll install plastic 3/16" "clamps" (can't think of better term) where I can. Hopefully line supported enough after it leaves gas tank area so it won't flop around.

Thanks for any tips/solutions.
