John, I just dealt with that issue a few months ago. And dealt with it. And dealt with it. Swapped out sensors, cleaned connections, on and on.

I solved it by taking apart the instrument cluster housing and swapping out the temp unit for a good one. That fixed the problem. There is a capacitor in the instrument that has gone bad. You can get advice on how to replace it on the list, but it is easier just to swap out the unit.
