Charles:

I recall getting the buzzer + coolant light combo just once, when the coolant distributor blew apart on the highway and my bus dumped a lot of coolant in a short distance. By the time I pulled over the coolant level was at the bottom of the reservoir, so I'm thinking (without trudging out to the garage to check the Bentley wiring diagram) that your problem could be a bad coolant sensor in the tank. This could be caused by a dead or dying sensor, or, I recall, by an incorrect water/antifreeze mix in the coolant system. Search gerry for "coolant sensor" and have a browse through the collected wisdom on the subject.

Best, d.
