Gerry,

It's not like this is totally unexpected news that was not inevitable,
but it is disheartening to see it in print.  Please comment on whether or
not this is the case for the thousands of Vanagon owners out there.  My
pedestrian point of view leads me to believe that there may be a little
hyperbole here since there are at least a dozen active VW after market
suppliers out there.  Say it ain't so Gerry!  If it is so, what to do for
future needs?
