You can buy them ready-made at marine stores, but probably lots cheaper to make your own. To secure the toggle, rather than making a big knot I'd seize the ends together with waxed thread, pulling tight and working toward the toggle to get it nice and tight. Google seizings and I'm sure you'll find a variety of techniques. To be even fancier, seize the other ends too instead of the knot. But the knot's quicker. Bowline works well to make a loop. David |
