Sunshine! Good to see you here! The buzzer is for oil pressure, not coolant level. Sounds like you have a new problem. Check the wire on the oil pressure sender that resides down by the lower left of the crank pulley. Then, if that's in place, check the 2-wire plastic connector that both oil pressure senders go to, it should be somewhere in the vicinity of the forward end of the AC compressor. Can't have any corrosion if that. I assume that you put in good 20W50 oil when you changed it last. And a proper VW/Mann/Mahle filter. If all is good you might need to replace that rear sender, some vans came with the wrong one installed from the factory. Should be a .9-bar sender IIRC.
