Hey Jack, now you know about wheel bolt patterns in wheels.
I thought I had a link to a good list of wheels showing bolt pattern,
offset, etc. , but couldn't find it.
Venango wheels have a bolt patter of 5 x 120 ...........which means 5 wheel
mounting holes in a 120 mm diameter pattern.
I would'na even posted, except I wonder if you know of the BMW equivilant of
theSamba,
because, I have an excellent condition Bentely Service Manual for 82 to 88
5- Series Bimmers, I'd like to sell.
Appreciate any help you can offer there. TIA.
Audi and mercedes wheels often have the 5 - 120 wheel bolt pattern.
The ET is an issue for more modern wheels on Vanagons.
Seems the trend on more modern cars is for wheel hubs that stick way
further out, and the wheel reaches in deeply over the hubs and brakes, ,
compred to Vanagons, which are old fasioned in that the wheels don't reach
in very far, compared to more modern wheels. But many get many types of
wheels to work !
