On top of my '83 having it's mishap today my '03 EV MV is awaiting for 2 new mufflers special order so it's sitting in the garage. The front muffler is strapped in OK but the rear muffler is gone right now. My question is is it OK to drive it like that? I have for some small trips but I'm worried there is some secret mechanism that is set to fail if the engine is not getting the back pressure it wants. Am I crazy? If I can't drive it I'll have to get a rental. Good thing my wife's '98 A4 is running well. Nothin' beats an 'ol reliable 11 year old Audi. ;) Bryan |
