Dear Rocket, the cod..rod socks to which I refer, are usually 60 inches in length for a two piece 9'6" Gary Loomis IM6 Wt 5 flyrod, with sewn pockets for the pieces. Of course a shorter rod would fit nicely into a shorter sock and the true size of the rod may change. The maximum length of the Shady parts is 47.995 inches (taking into account the Fitzgerald contraction), So a rod sock of lesser proportions would do handily.

A clever local seamstress could probably outfit you with one in your choice of Scottish Plaid flannel to match whatever it is you might like to match for a small fee or other consideration.

Or you could store the parts with the Bluesmobile tripod in the Bluesmobile tripod "sock". Found here:http://www.deltablues.net/camping.html
