Jeff

Here's the deal.

There are three different part numbers for that thing. The difference in the numbers indicates that different ones were used on vans of different years. You have to take yours out and look at the number and compare the various outlets and configuration to the one you want to order to be sure to get the right one and avoid a lot of shipping back and forth trying to get the right one.

Vancafe supplies the plastic ones - but they have come up with a far more elegant solution - a steel multipurpose unit that fits all watercooled Vans. I had to replace my coolant distributer because it developed a crack. I got the multipurpose unit and it mad a slick installation. It comes supplied with an extra length of hose and various fittings that allow you to install it into any of the water cooled vans. While it may cost a bit more - it is well worth the price. You will not have to worry about the plastic ever cracking again.

Good luck,

John Rodgers
