I've had to replace 3 wheel bearings on my van and they all had similar symptoms:1/ rrrr rrrrr rrrrrr rrrrr noise, especially while turning AWAY from the side of the van with the bearing problem, increasing the weight of the van on the bad bearings. 2/ when they were fronts, it was easy to hear the rrrr noise because you could just turn the steering wheel. 3/ my rear one (R/R) almost made me think it was the front, but when someone rode with me, they could easily hear it was the R/R. The more worn it got, the louder it got in all driving conditions, not just turning.
