Jeff, my first suspect is always the wiring between the door and the body. Inside the rubber boot in the door jamb area the wires can and often do break. Some times it is completely other times it is partial so that you are still seeing the motor trying to work, but not enough amperage is getting to it because of the wire strands being broken. I usually split the boot open and then just start tugging at the wires one by one until one of them comes out as a broken one. Then resplice it with a crimp, butt splice connector or run a whole new wire which ever you choose, and it should fix the problem. If you find you need a new motor let me know as I can get them.
