If someone on the west coast asks you where to rent a camper "like a Westy", you can now refer them to Wicked Campers North America.

My wife and I used this company in Australia (where they have even funkier paintjobs) back in 2002, before we bought our first VW camper together....the Oz camping experience is what stimulated us to go VW camper crazy when we got back to North America.

Wicked DOES NOT rent VW's. They rent Chevy Astro's that have "sort of been converted" into a basic camper...their target market is college students and backpackers. Prices start at around $40/day and they do one way rentals between Vancouver/SF and LA.
