News flash. Last minute cancellation from Overland. Ed Hernandez says the Savana Beige van that they use as an engine mule was not in the warehouse today. He was not able to locate it in time to prep for VOR #9. Besides he said there were no firm orders for their new brushguard so that's that. Funny since the brushguard idea was only secondary. There is pair in stock at a local VW place so if someone wants to see these in the flesh, I can have them bring one over.

It's nearl 3am and I plan on being at the park at 9am. If you spot my Syncro Doka and I am absent, I may have passed out at the nearby park bench. Hehehe... Don't forget to bring me a hot mocha to wake me up. This is a neighborhood park so bring muchies just in case. There is a Costco a block away in case you like their pizza and polish. Burger King and McD's are also within a few blocks. For those who want something more interesting, there's Max's Fried Chicken (not the only thing they serve), Karilagan, Ongpin, and Boracay Grill for Filipino food. Joann's is typical diiner food and Gunther's is kind of like Denny's. There are grills in the park if you want to cook your din-din.

Here's to a fun day at the park with your Vanagon friends.
