Right. But more efficient is better than less efficient.

But you all have convinced me: If the fridge is full of stuff, top-opening vs. front-opening probably doesn't make a big difference. There are probably other characteristics that affect the efficiency more, like what kind of motor and compressor is used.

I guess we need to do a chill-off! Get a bunch of these fridges together in one spot for an apples-to-apples comparison.
