Working on the house for a nine-day stretch instead of camping in the Westy.  It had to be done, of course, but there are funner ways to spend that much time.  I did take a couple of hours off on Friday to check out the rumor of an '82 Vanagon at a local boneyard.  I hoped it was a diesel and that I could scarf the conversion parts but it turned out to be an aircooled one and pretty picked over.
 
Back at work now, it all seems like a dream.
