somebody with more time than me and maybe some actual figures on Vanagon wheel requirments...here is a place to get a quote on Forgeline wheels fitted specifically to a Vanagon. Forgelines are less expensive than the HRE wheels. They are widely used on the west coast in PCA club racing and SCCA racing. They are pretty strong, considering some of the off track excursions I have seen them survive at the track...
