The local dealers know I am looking for Vanagons, especially Syncros. They contacted me after trying to sell them, to no avail. I offered $100 cash for them and went and picked them up with a trailer. One is rusty and needs too much to be road worthy IMHO, so will be parted. The other will get cleaned up and driven as my winter van and sold in the spring. Lately I have been given vans. Just received a 91 2wd base model last week. I am know in my area as a VW Vanagon recycler. Put the word out and they will come. Just be prepared to have the space to store them and the truck and trailer to get them. I have dealer tags too when they are strong runners. df
