At Syncro de Mayo '04, he snapped an axle up on the mtn. He called Van-Cafe right then on his cell, and back in camp reported that he'd have a replacement the next morning. Sure enough, the Van-Cafe goodie truck arrived and several helped Warren get the new axle in. Since then broken axles on "over-powered" Vanagons have become common, but as I remember, Warren was there first. He will be missed. Richard |
