Thanks for the notes, guys. Both hinges are folding properly (front link going forward), or at least the same. There doesn't seem to be any obstruction causing the right side hinge not to collapse all the way. Also, I didn't see that the front 2 holes of each hinge are slotted. I readjusted the bolts to compensate for height, but the 1/8"-1/4" distance in the hole didn't make much of a difference. I'm out of ideas here. At least it latches, but it takes a bit more effort now and looks really crooked in the back and front. Not sure if it will even seal the whole length of the luggage rack when I get it back on.
