I've been away from the list for a while, so hopefully this hasn't been discussed:
I happened across this auto parts place on the web today, with Vanagon gas tanks for $65.43 and $68.88, with $25 shipping to CT. It's a little odd that they are listed for '80-'81 and '90-'92. I would assume that they are supposed to be the two different filler hole sizes, but that's not the right year for the change. Also don't know about outlet size, but that certainly is a low price.
Given that one of the list vendors says that all Vanagon gas tanks are made by only a few manufacturers, I would imagine that these would be on par with others from other sources. Anyone ever order one of these? How do they do it so cheap?
