The BD were original VW, yes, they have the less expensive aftermarkets too.

example is my 2003 EV which needs 2 new mufflers. I can get them ballpark
from BD for $350 or let the mechanic get it from the dealer for $600+. Not
going to happen. Let him add a secret markup, I'm sure he will, but it's not
going to be $250.  If I had a mechanic that insisted I bought the $600 parts
I'd find a new one.

hey Bryan I understand your point but  new bosal mufflers  for both list for
$487   wholesale is $247 for both    What brand was the BD ones  ?    later
