Quick question before I dive into this, someone might save me some time and trouble. Plus the weather is about to go to hell here and I have to work outside, no garage. I noticed that my headlights wern't working right the other night. I appears that when I pull up on the lever for high beams I'm getting nothing, all four ('90 Westy) lights out, not even the little blue light on the dash. Click it again and I have the low beams. I have a relay kit in place and it's worked fine for several years. The info I have indicates that there are separate fuses for right and left high beams, I should be able to find those and check them. But I find it unlikely that both fuses would go at once. So, two questions. First, is there a SINGLE fuse or relay for the high beams, one that would put all four lights out? And second (and just troubleshooting in my head) how likely is it that it's just the switch on the steering column? |
