Damned elitists. Last time we went camping we used our 7-passenger van...
there are some of those on this list, y'know. Pfffftt.
Just to fire Rocky up and give him a reason to climb... er, struggle up onto
his high horse, I'll go ahead and define camping as the opposite of whatever
it is he's doing (i.e., gazing at the stars as opposed to watching Satyricon
on DVD; cooking hot dogs on a stick over the fire as opposed to making a
gourmet pizza in the nude). Pistols at dawn, sir! Huzzah!
Just kidding. : )
Cya,
Robert

I believe the reason behind the thread (since I started it) is for YOU to
define camping and how the Westy works for you.

What does "actual camping" mean? No hookups? Not in an urban area?
Sleeping in a tent? Out in the boondocks? In a place where you can be
visible in your van and not worry about being hassled?
Just wondering!
When full-timing, access to the world is very useful - for me that means
email, for others TV or electric or showers or whatever. But when
full-timing there is no "I could stay home and do that" because I AM home.
