I think there was a recall on this ducting- maybe having to do with the att= achment. It may not be in effect anymore=2C but sometimes recalls last for = many years. I remember getting a Jetta years ago and even though it was qui= te a few years old=2C it was still eligible for the heater core recall. You= might want to check with the dealer.
