yeah, it's tricky to get the rubber pan gasket seated back into its groove in the body of the trans sometimes. It's a 'little too easy' to think you've got it seated and sealed, then fill the trans with ATF, only to see it splashing out one side. So be extra careful about that. and total cleanliness too- any tiny foreign particle can cause a problem.

Royal Purple is a super great synthetic ATF. I can just swap out a couple of qts, and feel the trans drive better, using Royal Purple.

the differential section - check or change that gear oil in there too if you want. the original pan gaskets there are often hard and don't seal too well anymore.
