Subject: Frydaye [NVC] Request Computer help for a cripple - ME!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Part I - The Cripple - I have torn two cartilages in my right knee. I am so bummed. Doing a lot of siting around on my bum right now. Will undergo the laproscope next week to fix the problem. In the meantime I can't drive my manual tranny van. Hurts too much.

Part II - Computer Help Requested. I had a drive failure on my PC and had to install a new drive and re-install the operating system. Since I had a Computer Builders copy of XP, I decided that I would opt for installation of the new Windows 7 beta. So far the new system is sweet - but I cannot get my printer re-installed. The printer is wi-fi operated on a home network. Two computers are hardwired to a Linksys router and the printer connected to the network via a Linksys wireless print server. I cannot get my computer to recognize the printer.

BTW - both computers now have Windows 7 beta.

Any computer gurus out among the membership that might could help??

Please reply off list.

Thanks,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver Wannabee
