Well the consensus in no. Having said that; I've been doing it since 1974 when I got my first VW Bug, and have never had any trouble. I put sparkplug anti-seize on my sparkplugs; you can buy it as a stick. I also don't use a torque wrench; I use my educated arm. I know I'm going to hell. Courtney
