More Facts and comment. I was living in NOrth Lttle Rock when that murder happened and it was huge news for quite some time. Rest areas after dark were VERY lightly used. I hadn't realized that they'd caught the person responsible for killing her, but don't want to pay the Arkansas Democat folks money to read the article. That murder took a long time to solve obviously.

I drove a 79 bay window up until 1997, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't on the AIRS list since we didn't get our first computer until 1996. Been on the Vanagon Rescue Squad for quite a while both in AR and now here in Iowa(RVC) and never had a call. I guess there's only so many proactive things you can do in life.
