I am not connected with these guys and have not actually used these but this is where I would go, if I wanted them to shine:

http://www.customcoating.net/index.php?open=TUOTTEET&id=00021

The page is in finnish, but there are pictures below. I dont think this is finnish product so it should be available elsewhere. Package size is also rather big for few emblems, but hey: its enough blingbling for the whole street and everybody wants blingbling. They would probably send their stuff anywhere if you ask them and could probably manage to answer to emails in english. (In Finland most of the car painting people are quite oldschool, so they dont necessarily speak english)

Heres another one with the same stuff: http://www.timfix.com/index.php?page=9

It says on the page it "mimics polished aluminium" eventhough it is named "direct chrome". Package includes 3 layers of different stuff. I would assume they have instructions in English with their products.

I will never ever trust a cap. Not anymore. Done my research there. I think this is something where theres no easy & cheap way of getting shiny results in anywhere near the wanted spectrum of colors. With metal surfaces Id go directly to electrolating.

This is why I am painting mine matt black. Rest of the van being shiny black. Sorry vw, I apologize this lost visibility of your brand.

Just realized: this is probably a finnish product so You might not find it in too many places out there: http://www.customcoating.net/index.php?lang_id=en
